I’ve always said that England needed a revolution. I find the line “Britons never, never , NEVER shall be slaves” a tad ironic as I peruse Dickens, Thackeray, and Trollope.

I’m surprised we didn’t have a revolution after each W War. I think we’re so used to being told what to do, we just accept it.
The US is in a similar situation (gathered from what I read).
