Alien 1: The secret to making a perfect Jglynn sauce is marinating the brain in social media to make it nice and gooshie. Alien 2: Oooo... Alien 3: Ahhh... Alien 4: Mmm... Alien cooking school
Evidently the doofuss in the pot is the alien here…Text: " r u hot tdy…..i m "….You don’t even have to marinate him, he’s done it himself with Monster and Red Bull….tangy, but tasty…….
I can’t help but think that there was a time when people thought reading would turn people’s minds to mush too. How things have changed . . . On a side note, I finally joined the rest of 2012 and bought a smartphone. I’m currently trying to figure out how to check out ebooks from the library, but it’s not going as smoothly as hoped. Good thing I still have my trusty, rusty library card.
Blue Pumpkin: Be KIND, learn how our new device works, BEFORE you pick on your poor librarian to explain how to use “overdrive” or the library program. 90% plus going into our library want the staff to teach them how to use their phones first!
Pretty sure that marinade in the ’toon is for flavor, as the brain is already WAY TOO “pre-softened”.
jahoody, it’s kind of a shame, but it’s true. But, hey, what do I know. I didn’t take typing class seriously back in 1966. I wasn’t going to be a secretary….I didn’t know they were going to invent the computer….so I type with 2 fingers…..
AKHenderson, they aren’t very social when Wiley runs a political one….unsociable more like it…..boy, I hope it’s too late for trolls….Damn!….and I thought I was cured!!!

Are those aliens actually using pencil and paper??? WOW! An advanced technology, indeed! When will we re-develop the ability of penmanship? Grok?

I just looked up ‘gooshie’ in my Larousse Gastronomique but I can’t find it. Is this one of those fancy-shmancy molecular gastronomy technical terms?
prrdh over 12 years ago
As Emeril LaGooshie might say.

I love the way the alien students’ mouths reflect the yummy sounds they’re making. Allusion: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JUkfA_SaM4

Too many brains are ‘nice and gooshie’ even before the social media.

@vonne antonI understand “longhand” is no longer taught in school….once a kid has mastered printing, he’s given a keyboard.
