Iā€™ve always invented new games like that! Traditions, too. It canā€™t become a tradition unless you start it! And the cool thing is all you have to say is say something like ā€œUm, Iā€™ve just invented a new traditionā€¦ā€ Hey, if it works it works, if not so what?

Cute game! (Although I would think heā€™d want the sprinkler to catch up to him more often in this heat!)

One reason the Caulfield character ā€œworksā€ is that heā€™s capable of both kinds of behavior and you never know whatā€™s coming. The obnoxiosity acts as a foil for strips like todayā€™s, for instance.

Seems to me that people who deliberately messed up a farmerā€™s crops should have to work for the farmer for a while, helping harvest, etc.

Beautiful ā€“ are we sure this isnā€™t a Sunday?

As to crop circles making a major impact on a fieldā€™s crop ā€“ not that I condone them, but ā€˜cmon! A typical non-prairie field has all sorts of ups downs that lead to spots of poor productivity. Assuming the circle isnā€™t the size of the whole thing, that is.

Itā€™s amazing how many ways a kid can make up things to do! I could too but much of my inner child is getting too old unless Iā€™m drawing or painting!

Well, of course it depends on the crop. If you are growing soylent green, then the crop circles are people.
