Ay, Doggie! I too have felt the confusion of the dreaded dream-within-a-dream!

Had one of those when I had a fever when I was eight. My mother vacuumed my bedroom but when I woke up the floor was still a mess.

Those damn surrealist household appliances. I had the same problem with my microwave

I once woke up, only to discover that I had only dreamed about waking up, and woke up again …, for a total of six cycles.

A melted digital clock would make an awesome novelty gift.
