What’s scarey is you can normally have them refilled too. Worked a floral shop for a few years and after any big holiday any Mylar that didn’t sell would have straws inserted to squeeze out the air and stored for the next year.

They still lose it. Mylar balloons usually start to become visibly less inflated after a fortnight or so; after that it’s anyone’s guess

My daughter has had her birthday balloons floating for months. I eventually had to “kill” them.
