I had a girlfriend who’d just been fitted for her first pair of contact lenses. Her first comment, upon seeing me was : “You really do have a crooked nose !” She could have said worse things, I guess.
My mom did not get my vision checked until after I had problems. I remember not see the board or evan closer my paper writing on. Than she took me to eye doctor and damaged was done, I was moved to Special Ed for dummy’s. Now when our two kids I had their vision checked before going to school. Son went through patching no glasses now. Daughter wears glasses ocassionaly no patching needed.
I do not par take of cotton candy. The green would need to be mint. Too much sugar.

I was disappointed by the stars when I got my glasses. They’re so tiny!

That color might turn me off cotton candy.

I still like to look at the Christmas tree without my glasses, the lights all fuzzy and blended together.

When I was thirteen, I put on my first pair of glasses. I knew that pine trees had needles, but I didn’t know you could see them from so far away!

Won’t be the first person who gets disappointed after getting a better look at something.

Everytime I get a new pair of glasses, I see more branches on trees that I have seen everyday of my life.
