Glad to see that lookin at the fire..um..recipe again and having a couple margaritas made you feel better. We’ll see you this afternoon at the closing.Mel O’Dell and StelBel
Goodness gracious I knew there would be a response to my comment but I had no idea what a storm it would cause. I have been viewing Ballard for years and always enjoy reading the clever comments about the comic. No, I don’t read all the role playing posts, never have. Those I skim right over. I still find the whole thing bizarre. Mainly I look to see if Lefty2 has posted anything. That guy has some interesting comments! Essex always came up with something good too. By the way, classy move Number 6. Name calling is always a good thing.
Spot On Tony…..what a way to start the day, on target, focused and directed…..one leap for mankind, going for the gold, Shirley will call the ambulance, body and mind poised, the moment couldn’t more prefect, Tony knows a good chiropractor, risk management maintained, you only live once, Tony’s cousin is a doctor, life is for living, the cosmos is abundant, there’s a wheelchair in the garage, firsties are besties…….adrenaline is free…….
Thanks, Molly. This is not a “select” group. Join right in anytime! Are you interested in moving to the neighborhood?Mel O’Dell just got a couple new listings…
(Don’t forget: I run SCHAABS pet hotel and antique browser store, the Wonderful World of Inflatables and the Costume Annex, not to mention StelBel and Mel O’Dell Premier Properties. Not that I’ve overextended myself or anything..oh, and every once in a while, I fill in at the sheriff’s office, at least until the election. Although, some additional personnel have been added.)
A housewarming/election party sounds great. One question: with all those lovely furnishings in your new house, what could one possibly bring as a housewarming gift????
Do you really think Tony wants the ring tossed at his nose ( or anywhere else? )
“I actually cried when ‘Wilson’ got swept out to sea!”+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++I remember that I did, and couldn’t believe that I could get so teary over it.BTW, I had no idea that you know Stan and Ollie personally. By all means, bring them along. They always liven things up a bit!============I checked out the 39 minute mark first thing, and, true to your word, you adjusted the mirror, but not having watched the entire episode, I’m still not sure that you didn’t end up on the ceiling! I will find out for sure in the morning when I watch the whole thing. (Actually, it did have a nagging familiarity. I used to watch this show with my dad when I was a kid…eons ago. The Prisoner and also The Avengers. I had no idea that entire episodes were on YouTube! I’m looking forward to watching them again! Thanks for cluing me in.)
“I’ve been giving this some thought. Of course Tony won’t be out of the hosp. by election day, but it did get me to thinkin’…… was that a game that was manufactured by the Johnson Mfg. Co.? I think I might have heard of it a long time ago. :)”+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++OMG, Bev!!! I literally laughed out loud reading that! My lord, aren’t we both subtle….!!!
Well…. I’m back from delivering my bags….yooo hoo….
Did you all go over to tomorrow already?
Nope…. nobody over there yet…..
Sorry I fell asleep and missed the bus last night…. or rather, way early this morning….didn’t get to Ballard St till late today, just in time to swoop in and pick up my campaign stuff….
Guess I’ll wander over to the Tiki and then, if nobody’s there, to Red’s, and see what’s happening….and I’ll stay at the salon tonight.
I gotta tell you something important you’re forgetting about election day.
Look carefully, Tony. Does anyone have control of the lines holding the inner tube? You could be in a world of hurt if some oddsmaker decides to lengthen your chances. But if not, go for the cheesecake!

Muriel is making Tony jump through hoops again. No good can come of this exercise in stupidity.

Using the comic frame effectively for the tie-offs, I see.

The locks are pretty tricky at your new house. Why don’t I go over with you, as soon as I get back walking Mel ( and Max ).
