From the monsters that started it all,
Thru refinements that held us in thrall,
The smart phone evolved, all problems are solved,
Except it IS kind of small!
The computer in he first frame is hardly a monster — the FIRST digital computers filled rooms and needed their own climate control systems because they created so much heat!
I’ve never wanted to try and watch a movie or t.v. show on an iPhone. Why would anyone, in a 72" flatscreen world?? Besides, I like kickin’ back and watching movies in my easy chair, with my 17 in. laptop, and earphones. (All I need is my Redenbacher popcorn! LOL!)
You might not watch a small screen at home (unless someone else was watching the big screen) but they can be handy on the road. On my last plane trip, everyone but me had an iPad. It was strange looking over someone’s shoulder as they watched people on an airplane in Inception.
Look at the communicator of the original Star Trek series. it was about the size of todays cell phones and all you could do was talk. Now you can talk, surf the web, takes pictures and video in high def, text, plan trips, play music. Our future is not as advanced as their past.
