Petey, why am I not surprised?

This all reminds me of baby Plucky Duck of “Tiny Toons Adventures” playing miniature golf with his father. Hits a little, then says “I darn it, I missed” over and over (until he makes Dad look into the sky for a helicopter and throws the ball farther).

Wow, this trip Petey’s really come out of his… uh, tarp.

Peter, with that sparse growth of headhair, really should wear a hat to fend off the wicked rays of sun that have made him cranky. That Petey is enjoying something is cause for rejoicing! Alice needs some mini-golf tips or even help!

There should be an age floor for miniature golf. i.e. no kids under 6 or 7

Alice sounds like my godson learning to skate. “watch this, tante!” Plop, roll. “Watch this!”

I guess with the ceasing of the strip thanks to Mr. Thompson, there will be daily reruns until September 22, 2012.

I’ve loved this strip — one of my favorites! Hope to see reruns forever!

I would hate to see Alice’s score, if they are keeping score.

Petey needs to golf with Lio’

I just got an email from gocomics staff.

It says they “definitely plan on running CdS in ‘classic’ format” as they do with Calvin & Hobbes and others. Since I just found this gem if a strip a few months ago, I’m really happy to be able to see it from the start and not have to part with it so soon (tho, not happy by the circumstances - we’re all in your corner, RT!)

I remember playing mini golf like that.

I wonder if anyone has tried inventing table mini-golf. Like air hockey but with mini-golf and all the windmilly fun.

That sounds awesome – if anyone ever finds a mini golf course like that, please tell me. Lava and robots always make things much more interesting.

Basic golf etiquette, if a line is forming behind you, let them play through.

They should have special club for the little ones, with larger, concave heads. Scoops up the ball and sends it straight.
