He’ll probably be a 6-5, 300 pound kid who runs a 4.7 40, but hates football, and Gil will support him in his desire to be a ballerina, much to the chagrin of Marty Moon and the boosters.

There’s going to be ANOTHER one-armed kid in Gil Thorp’s strip if Chip reaches for those cookies one more time.

Chip’s haircut is inspired by Alfalfa on the Little Rascals. Wasn’t Chip the co-discoverer of Brody Abro? Can’t think of the quarterback he was jogging with when they spotted Brody.

The QB who discovered Brody last year was Miles Paris, who has faded into the Thor p archives like Rick Bozich, Brent Raptor, Cortez Beecher, Coach Tod Andrews, Cyde Bean & Ernie Fenton. I like the self reliant Mrs. Visci. I bet she learned that swat! from the nuns in grade school.

Has Gil been secretly recruiting that all-state QB from Valley Tech? And now the kid is going to live with some long-lost aunt and uncle who just happened to rent a house in the Milford District. Time for the state athletic association to do a little digging.

Ahhh, a lady who still makes cookies for the new neighbors – a woman after my own heart. I think I’m going to like this football season.

I predict the new neighbor will be a well-adjusted, likable, personable, friendly, average kid who plays sports and is athletic but is not an all-star, just a solid contributor who is happy to help the team in any way. And he’s solid in the classroom too, with a stable two-parent home

What syndrome are we dealing with next? I’m hopimg Lini can bring some sarcastic sense to it, unless he has graduated.

I’m the only one who senses a creepy vibe between these two? Who says they “adore” their mom when they are in high school? I’m hoping the new syndrome is not going there…

The neighbor is a girl who wants to play football. Self esteem issues will force Molly to ditch her sophomore year with a satisfying high-five when the girl gets into the last game and makes a tackle to preserve Milford’s 2-8 season.

What a horrible story line so far!

New kid will be the son of a Green Beret and will need a positive male role model to help him while his Dad is gone. In walks Gil.
