    I must have missed something. When did the Amish start using ten-wheel trucks? I thought it was all horse-drawn cart.

    I would say using a ten-wheel truck to enslave women into making pies and quilts IS an idle pursuit!Especially when Rip Haywire is coming to the rescue.

    I’ll bet some Amish would find this story arc fascinating. Since it’s unlikely any Amish read Rip, it should be in book form with a little intro and some background. The kids do read some comics (Archie, Peanuts) but Rip might be a little out there. Why don’t you send a dozen copies to Fisher’s General Store in Georgetown and see if anybody buys them?
