Moviegoer: Where do you wanna sit? See two together? Costliest disasters. Japan earthquake and tsunami. Hurricane Katrina. B.P. oil spill. Battleship the Movie.
I saw a preview and instantly knew that a movie like that was a “no” for me. I think that $300 million dollars spent making that movie could have spent making a movie with some social reward. It amazes me that anyone over the age of 15 would be interested in stuff like that.
All we need are big screen versions of Candy Land (with Zombies of course), Mousetrap (by Tim Burton), and maybe Monopoly. Wait, we already have the Mark Zuckerberg story about Facebook.

But I wasn’t clear on how they got to the point of not being able to see anything and thus needing to take potshots at each other.

Cute strip. I kind of enjoyed Battleship, especially when the retired navy guys got the museum in working order again.

Such a disappointment. I know a sailor that was on one of the ships they filmed on. I was so hoping Battleship was going to be good. :(

Oh, and there was a popular music celebrity in the movie also! No wait… that didn’t help it either. Never mind. PS. Love the actual game…

Thought Kevin Costner’s Waterworld was the costliest flop of it’s time.

it needed Meghan Fox. She sold a lot of popcorn for Transformers.

I thought the costliest disaster was “Battlefield Earth.”
