Figured it out: The daughter got a cell phone call in the middle of the conversation she is describing… demonstrating that what she was saying was all phony. ;-)
IMHO, the therapist would now schedule her for at least a dozen more sessions to deal with her phone issues, more later for the mother situation issues. IMHO of course.
