Social Security informed me I would be getting a raise in my benefits of “X” dollars per month in 2014. My sleazy health care provider, Anthem Blue Cross, immediately notified me they were raising my monthly 2014 premium by “X-1” dollars, so my effective raise is one dollar per month.At least Anthem was kind enough to leave me a whole dollar just to spend any way I want (at least until March, when they have another major monthly increase planned).
