Nag, nag, nag ! Can’t a man even read the funnies in peace ?

I’ve never seen a microwave do that. If I miss the beep it’s too bad for me. It won’t beep again.

It’s the smoke alarm beeping.

I know that my microwave will beep once a minute after the initial ending beeps to alert you to the fact that you still have something in there. It can definitely get irritating, especially if you are not the one who was cooking.

Check your manual. It’s possible you can disable that irritating beep with a few key presses.

Get the Clap-on, Clap-off version.

Yeah, that and seatbelt reminders! :P

Mine doesn’t beep like either, but I’m there pulling my food out before it stops beeping.

Wait till he gets a cell phone and gets a text message that he ignores.

Impatient microwaves ???

For those of you who feel his pain, why don’t you put the food in the microwave when you’re ready to eat it?

How good can a frozen buritto be ?

Mine does the reminder beep every minute, and I find that handy. It’s a reminder about my food if I get too involved on a web page, and a makeshift timer if the instructions say ‘Let stand for one minute after cooking before eating’ ;)

Earl, did you take the burrito out of the package before you put it in the microwave?

my oven does the beep thing when timmed cook then after the first couple sets of beep I will usually go pull it out and sit on stove to cool or it will be severly burnt to a crisp

My microwave does not do that , thank god. Just a short quick beep-beep. And it’s notification alarm is just the right volume as to not annoy.

Love cats..but they do not belong on the table. Yuck!

I turned off my microwave sound, so not to disturb sleeping husband. I missed the beeping…

It’s to make sure old people like you don’t forget that you microwaved something!! ;-)

You think that’s bad, the same thing happens when people come to the door and ring the bell. At least microwaves can’t get hurt feelings.

burnt…it’s burnt. When the smoke alarm goes off I call 911

Oh..“and dear, it’s time to remove your quilt from the lint dryer.”

I’m glad I’m not the only one who talks to my microwave!
