This strip a bit close to home today. I was fixing to make Shepherds Pie for dinner tonight. Hopefully, no paramedics will be needed afterwards.

Pubs in the UK generally serve food as well as drink. He is probably talking about something like Steak & Kidney pie or something of the sort – not Apple or Cherry pies. (This is based on my limited time there – correct me if I’m wrong).

Oh yea, one can never forget that mess hall cooking, it kinda sticks to your ribs. LOL

Hmmmm… Tricky one!

I agree that Andy did used to be violent towards Flo but this stopped years ago like you said. If this was allowed now… in comic strips then Andy would still be ‘bopping’ her.

And Flo would still have her famous rolling pin.

I may sound like a terrible person when I say this but I loved the violence between Andy and Flo.

I will always be against it in reality though.
