Never forget what happened. Never forget why it happened. Never forget how it could have been avoided. He who forgets the past is doomed to repeat it.

It’s been repeated many times over around the world. On a different scale, but scarring and killing innocent men, women and children every day. Let us not forget them, either.

Always remember, like “events” that led to most wars, they might have, or COULD have, been prevented. Wise men seek peace, not war.

While I agree a lot with the previous two comments, I must say this is one of the most beautiful tribute drawings I’ve seen.

I’m afraid the ‘lack of critical thinking’ is on the part of those who insist a 757 / 767 couldn’t bring down the twin towers. Anyone willing to spend an hour watching The History Channel rather than listening to Rush would understand the failure mechanism perfectly.

The TRUE failure was in the neocons ignoring repeated warnings. http://tinyurl.com/9er52xw

I think the saddest thing is that given the way history keeps getting re-written and mis-remembered, there is a great likelihood that in another 10 or 20 years or so, 9/11 will be, not forgotten, but relegated to a media sensation and a Hallmark card that the younger generation can’t relate to. Look at how the younger generation now treats WW II.
