Reminds me of a restaurant I went to in a rural area of the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania. They had a trout pond out in back, so when you order one, they scoop it out and prepare it as fresh as can be. Yum!
(This was some 25 years ago, so I don’t know if they’re still in business.)
I love my wife dearly, but She does have some quirks that drive me nuts. Like going to a steakhouse in the Midwest and ordering “whitefish” – then complaining that the restaurant sucks………
