When I was a young kid at a new school, the librarian refused to let me check out more than 5 books at a time. When I told Mother, she immediately called Grandma to watch my brothers while we went back to the school. Mom explained to the librarian that I read every book I checked out because I would bore her to death telling her about them. She also explained the basic job of a librarian and how quickly that librarian could be replaced. Yeah, Mom!

Actually, I have tables and chairs at home that are wobbly.

I got to wondering during the last couple of years how many people were stage decorating a bit to make their dens more erudite during video communications

Not so much self-discipline as no sense of direction.
