Beef, it’s what’s for dinner and what burgers are made of, unless you have a turkey burger, or a pork burger then that would be kind of like ham wouldn’t it? This is my very rambling response.
I once wore a Homberg walking through Hamburg while searching my hunger to slake, a smell in the air hinted of fine dining fare the choice to eat here did I make, I removed my fine hattie and sat down to a patty of finely ground steak.
Boy this sounds like my conversations with my daughter. I know nothing until she has an epiphany and repeats everything I told her like it’s genius golden 100% her intellectual property and I don’t dare say otherwise.

German is weirder, Kevin. Five words for “the” and compound words for everything under the sun.

I like Miles’s attitude, like he has watched some cooking shows like the Great British Bake-Off(his burger nibbling is almost dry).

“THEY’RE MADE OF BEEF!”.. while I read that, I heard it in Clara’s voice (the old gal in the Wendy’s commercial).

Two nights ago my husband and I had this discussion! I knew they were named for the city Hamburg, but I agree that the English language is weird.

Hamburgers are from the far off land of Hamburg, Germany. That’s why they’re called, “hamburgers”.
