I had around 4,000 comic books when I turned the collection over to my son

    Think he’s almost doubled it

    Proof nerds can breed

The right comic books can be worth a small fortune.

Betcha a nickel she got rid of those a long time ago – they either went out in the trash or were given to a thrift shop.

Now that Funky Winkerbean is done with, all the comic book nonsense is going to spill over into Crank now…

Her face. Threw them away and proud of it. What’s ten thousand dollars when you can have an empty drawer.

Considering the probable worth of those comics, even in today’s depressed market, he SHOULD be upset.

If a comic strip bothers me so much I just don’t read it. Some people need help

The attic rats ‘disrespected’ the sacred books. Soiled, shredded. Then soaked with water by King Rat, Crank.

“I’m not upset! Now if it was Starbuck Jones you’d have to sedate me! Is it true they’re going to film the next Starbuck Jones movie here in Centerville?”

I grew up in the 1950’s and became a good reader because of comic books. They only cost a dime and I had a stack about two feet tall. Friends would come by with theirs and we’d trade so suddenly I’d have 20 or 30 new ones. Efficient and fun.

So much for Jeff’s retirement plan.

Also too: 500 quatloos Ed used the missing issues as tinder in his fireplace.

Oh, what a surprise. Just when we thought maybe there was one male in Batty’s universe that didn’t worship comic strip books.

I hate it when I go to look for something I thought I still had only to find it gone!
