It’s a long story.

Andre apparently doesn’t have an “indoors” voice. But it’s good for Petey to see old friends (sorta old—way back in the summer, a week or two ago). Loris Slothrop is too all-seeing, however. I wonder what her opinion of Ernesto’s real/imaginary status would be?

What happened to Loris’ third pony tail?

Maybe Andre will protect Petey from Ernesto – if he can see him.

Loris probably is a natural hallucinatrix.

I’m like Petey in some ways, I don’t have out-of-body experiences that I know of, but I am very anxious about new people and new experiences. It doesn’t get easier as you get older. I’m in college as a nontraditional student and I’m usually very quiet in class until I have to speak.

Since Loris can see BOTH Peteys, if she can see Ernesto it won’t prove if he’s imaginary or not. . . .

I like that Andre calls the group ‘team Peteyman’ not ‘team Andre’ or ‘team kablooie’ he’s good for Petey

Dear @all:Let’s not forget that Viola has actually talked to Ernesto.

I doubt Viola is imaginary since Alice has spoken to her.Alice, we all know, is much too self-absorbed to see ghosts.

Loris looks as if she has grown a bit.

Loris and Andre make for good additions to the lineup of characters in the strip. It’s sad that Mr. Thompson was not able to maintain it and them. Love that Loris sees both Petey and his out-of-body self. I think she might have made a wonderful “big sister” to Alice.Ernesto is no more imaginary than I am. He’s just very idiosyncratic, as is every other character here.
