They’re so diverse (well, except all People Of No Color), if they can successfully collaborate it will be very impressive (and they ought to be lavishly praised for it).
Onomatopoeia – did anyone know that word without looking it up? Anyway, does anyone remember the 1000 year old man skit where he explains how certain words got their names through the principal of onomatopoeia such as: egg and shower?
You know those fish slapping bears Alice is always going on about? Here’s a link to a live webcam and I just saw a bear catch a fish.https://explore.org/livecams/currently-live/brown-bear-salmon-cam-brooks-falls
I remember learning this word in 6th or 7th grade English; however; some years later, I first ran across its occurrence in a Playboy magazine’s letters to the editor section. It seems a dispute had broken out about the origin of the four letter word that describes a human activity which most likely represents the very reason this tome exists. I don’t remember the back and forth of all the various scholarly opinions, but I do recall the final and most simplified explanation; namely the Word in question is onomatopoeic, the letter writer exhorting us to, “Listen next time”.

I know it’s a Greek remark, but it sounds Japanese. Maybe there’s already an anime series called On-no Mata Piyya.

Don’t omit an illustration (drawing) on that cover! Titles and captions are good, but fine cover illustrations sell comics!

Title page: ONOMATOPOEIA! A big-eye robot ninja kitten is shown falling through the air.
Pages 2-3 (splash spread): The robot ninja kitten falls into a mountain lake. “SPLASH!”
Pages 4-15: A long awkward pause, as bubbles rise from the lake’s surface. “Pop. Pop. Burble. Pop.”
Page 16 (the big finish): “GASP!” The robot ninja kitten bursts from the lake. Magically, she now has long awkward paws!
