the players’ kicks sure look pretty strong

I wonder if their auto insurance cover attacks of soccer balls.

It looks as if Petey has ducked down inside the car after panel 1. A strategic withdrawal.

Ducked down, Petey consults with his living soccer shoes, “What’s my next move?”

I’m with Petey. When I pull into a parking garage, I instinctively duck my head.

I used to coach Peter’s age group (for far too many years). If I’d had kids who could kick that far, we would have been formidable. Even at third grade, I still had some butterfly chasers (and one kid who never was entirely sure which direction he was supposed to be running).

It’s like at the driving range when the guy is out with the cart picking up the balls.

looks like they need a safety net that encompasses the whole park.

Let that be a lesson to NOT go by the driving range.

Thank you Alice. Good eyes. I think you and your mothershould stay in the car before somebody get hurt over a dozen of soccer balls. Giggle!

A veritable hailstorm of soccer balls rain down upon the Otterloop Van! Luckily, their noise is worse than any damage they might do. Alice is cool with it, while Petey has disappeared down into the deepest recesses of the van.
