what fun on the kids’ part

I like to go outside and spy on the neighbors.

I wonder if Loris just grows new rubber bands when one pops off

Uh, oh. Petey is in trouble. He has to go outside!

Don’t remember my eight year life being gritty; well, maybe skin and clothes.

Did Richard ever write about cartoonist friends in his blog? I wonder if anyone he knew inspired any of the characters he drew.

That is very brave of Petey, venturing into the gritty Alician Territory. I would think a soccer field might be safer.

I had a spy notepad for awhile. I spotted a car at the boat landing, and that same car showed up 20 miles away later in the day. Something shady must have been going on.

You can tell Loris isn’t excited, only one rubber band went “twing”…

And yet…the little girl isn’t out of hair bands.

Other Mr. Spinnerack seems obsessed with grit and is overlooking the reality of this group. Dill, on the other hand, is plenty gritty and not a little sticky.

I’m happy now. Loris popped a hair tie.

Has Loris already finished her gritty reality comic strip?

Meanwhile, I sense some shilly-shallying on the parts of Andre and Petey. Has Other Mr. Spinnerack asked too much of them?
