Pete, Peg always loves you, but sometimes doesn’t like you. There is a difference.

What does it mean to “like” someone? How is the approval of others automatically a positive metric for an individual, what benefit does it bequeath and why would you consider that benefit of value to you?

the fewer people you know, the fewer people can dislike you … unless you comment on social media

But first, Pete – do you like Chip’s parents?

She does tolerate you on occasion.
