What is Horace doing…..Basket Base Jumping?

I got Err-or and E.R., just not the first panel.

Horace is a basket case.

This is why many modern shopping carts have boots that activate when they leave the perimeter.

I’m a bit excited to see, if Ermine Notyours comments this one.I wonder, if Horace should go to optician for an eye check. That hill looks rather steep for shopping cart. I’ve never seen that steep escalators for carts. Maybe there’s some reasons for that?

Maybe they tied his ears, cos they are just now talking with his mother on the phone and they don’t want him to hear…

Since Horace is wearing what looks like a racer’s suit, and carrying a helmet, I wondered if this was a commentary on the race just run at Daytona Beach. As usual, there were a lot of accidents…

Panel 2: Putting the horse before the cart.

Considering that Horace rode straight down the mountain, he must have had the only shopping cart on earth without a bad wheel.

Maybe the world that Horace inhabits is equine hell, because breaking a leg (here) is usually fatal for horses…

Thinking back on this….maybe the last panel should have been Horace being wheeled into hospital in the shopping cart.
