Well, what do you expect when you combine three random words and call it a drink: ab, sin, the (alternately: abs, in, the).

And when you make a day of it: abs in the day…

Absinthe makes you tongue green.

Makes me green with envy.

Can Dave get a rimshot, here?

Whoa! Where are all those groans coming from?

Long absinthe, soon forgotten.

I’m feeling absinthe minded today.

Dave skipped work today, so they marked him absinthe.

No no no, I don’t drink it no more. I’m tired of waking up on the floor….(actually I never tried it).

I’ve never had absinthe. From what I’ve heard, I should probably pass on it.

I was absinthe from school four days this semester.

I would have worked a green fairy into the illustration, but this is fine.

I tried absinthe and wondered what god-awful stuff folks were burning into their tastebuds beforehand to want to keep drinking it. Cheap black coffee? Dandelion salads?

IRC, Absinthe’s active ingredients were Wormwood and Anise, mixed and infused into high test alcohol.

We couldn’t even find a mixer to cut it. It ruined the taste of any additional soda.

I have never tried Absinthe but Gin and I and the floor are good buddies. I may try Hemingway’s Death in the Afternoon – Absinthe and Champagne.

There ought to be a “Name Your Drink Day”. Cheers & Groans …!
