I can understand banning Pepi Lepew. He was always sexually harassing that cat, but what did Speedy Gonzales do?

If I were there I would tell them a thing one or thing two.

while watching those cartoons i never once thought of Pepe Le Pew being sexual or Speedy Gonzales being portrayed wrongly as a Mexican. what about the roadrunner always trying to kill Wile E coyote or Elmer Fudd running around with a shotgun trying to kill Bugs Bunny? we were kids and never thought about these characters and their actions the way adults think of their actions now. if anything needs to be corrected it is all the violence in the cartoons ad video games now that are way beyond what we saw as kids in the 50s and 60s.

…You know, the same teenage street gang that killed two people and did other very, very heinous things.

So as you can imagine, their being included in a crowd scene while Pepe was deemed “offensive” has led to a surge of people declaring their intentions to boycott the film.

I wish more people were too young to cry on Oprah.

What did I just read?

Pepe Le Pew and Speedy Gonzales didn’t have characters that would normally go trash-diving.
