Pleased to meet you, my dear, shall we tango? Who’s the old crud in the corner with the metal teeth?

Let’s see— oh, maybe a week of these machines pawing the ground and growling at each other, then maybe the fight— this should take a while. Especially with DL forgetting what he did in yesterday’s installment and doing something that wouldn’t normally follow in today’s installment, which seems to be a regular thing with him.

Not only is this Halloween but it’s stupid as well. After they brawl are they going to go out for a cup of coffee ?

Looks like the robots left their bluetooth discoverable setting on.

public service announcement: let this be a reminder to every one with a bluetooth phone: make sure you have the discoverable turned off. It screams you’re phones ID and if the aggressor phone is set up to not ask permission before doing something it can copy/erase/replace everything on your phone without you ever knowing.

DT reminds me of a few three panel comic strips I did in high school. first panel what happened the day before. second panel something stupid and inane. third panel preview of tomorrows strip.

All they need now is Muhammed Ali calling it the “Rumble in the asphalt jungle”. Or, Locher could treat us to some WWF-style stuff!

I see robots do introductions the opposite way from humans. “…U R called Traze-R.” Not, “Hi, my name is Brute Force.” I think we could easily have a week or two of robot dialog before the real action gets going. “I will strp yr gears.” “Oh, yeah, well I’m gng to toss you nto a vat of salt wtr.” “Tht wuld violate the scnd law of robotics” “But not th scnd law of thermodynamics.”

I think Brut Force will get the upper hand because of that springy thing above his wheels

This is what is so ridiculous about this strip. Things change so hap-hazardly, like Traz-R’s looks, and now Magnum, err-a, Brute Force.

    SHEESH!

Oh no! Who is holding the data today! I guess that MF/BF tossed it back to Braces since he has his hands free this morning. This robot has such a short attention span!

This reminds me of a scene from “Short Circuit”: “Hey you, laser lips! Your mama was a snow blower!”

uhm - maybe, in all their jawing at each other, they’ll discover their mutual beginnings in some Far Eastern parts bin - brothers under the wires - MF will realize he’s technology being mis-used, and will turn on Braces, who he’s already dissed pretty good (bad?) -

who’s handing out the li’l Snickers bars?

The only decent story Locher ever did was the B.B. Orwell one back in 1993 in between Collins last story and Kilian’s first one.

Hey, itisme! The Obama ad is classic! You’ve gotta have a screw loose to even dream up that kind of stuff! Maybe this film clip is where Locher got the idea for this storyline. Everyone ought to read it (and then puke).

It’s all so clear to me now. Locher has been slow-pacing the action of this whole strip just to deliver that line on the 31st. Now that that’s over, this story will be over just like that. Oh, and Robo-Dick, it’s spelled LF8R.

Why did Robo-Tracy pronounce “force” correctly today?

What’s the weight limit on that elevator? Those Robots gotta weigh several tons.

I hadn’t thought about the elevator. I’ve been on a number of them, and I can’t recall a freight elevator that had a rating of over 5,000 pounds or so. No way that BF/MF could have ever fit on a passenger elevator, the ceiling would be too low.

Woops, I’d be wrong. The freights over at the Merchandise Mart are good for several tons, they’re HUGE and they don’t have ceilings. They’re used for everything from furniture to a couple of pallets of paper each weighing over two thousand pounds– sometimes more. If Genesis is equipped with one of these (possible, they’d have to get their machines in somehow), such an elevator could transport BOTH robots without straining.
