Not to be picky, but the picture on the wall behind Jack suddenly disappeared, but it’s obvious we need to concentrate on the stupid storyline. Like, giving out $750 G’s and then kidnapping the guy! For what? To get it back? Huh? I musta missed something!

Did I miss something? When was B.O. tied up? The artwork looks so bad in the first two panels? Looks totally slapped together.

I wonder if the police will get there faster than when Tracy calls for them. I think we’re still waiting for them from the last storyline.

Naperville, Ill…protected by Dick Tracy, but more importantly, the birth place of Harry Kalas, one of the best! May he rest in peace.

Just when I had a glimmer of HOPE that this strip may be improving!! This whole story is terrible from the art to the story. I’ll read this to the end with optimism only because I am a diehard Tracy fan. Is the end of this strip nearing?

It’s “WHO’S ‘HE’”, not “WHOSE ‘HE’” - it’s a contraction of “WHO IS ‘HE’.”

Basic grammar, people. Sheez.

OEJ lloks like a misfit from an anime cartoon. Did B.O. just get Tracy’s name correct??

This story had such potential.

That’s twice this week that B.O. has gotten Tracy’s name correct. Maybe his brain just works better under pressure.

When better can’t be done there is an phrase in this country. With a shrug, say …

“Ah like it so!”

Then yesterday :

“Certain posters here just come to nit pick and find fault with even the most minor issue” and “I like DT just as it is, flaws and all”

Those were TWO statements from yesterday and if Locher bothered to read this board I’m sure he would have felt vindicated that his serial sloppiness was indeed acceptable and part and parcel of modern day Dick Tracy. And, welcomed by more than his well known tiny coterie. (Mattie et al).

Just as well, as there was another “shower” of inconsistencies today (darn, Tracy “again” removed his coat) We saw desks that slope heavily to the left, (not a place to put your ‘marbles’) Pictures that dissapear of walls. And, KioPogo2’s obsevation from Sunday on B.O. mastering the pronounceation of the “TRACY” name, confirmed again today, in Panel 3. “Call the police”? - Didn’t Tracy flash his badge?

Three panels, three flawed swings! That’s perfect pitching… You’re OUT!

Can’t say I like it, “just the way it is”. Can you?

But better days, do seem to be just around the corner.

Art-wise and even dialogue-wise, there’s plenty to complain about in today’s strip, but I’m positively thrilled that Tracy is finally getting called out on his facist methods. Badge or no badge, he burst into the casino, waving a gun, and his only evidence of any wrongdoing at all was illegally gathered while ENDANGERING an innocent idiot!

On the bright side, the hands are getting better. At least Tracy doesn’t need Velcro fingers to hold that pistol.

Sheesh! How did they get away with such a gross grammatical error?

“Hummmm, Hummmm”. One eye Jack discovered a long time ago while watching Hong Kong Phooey the advantages of meditating to relieve stress. He reminded himself how remaining cool and calm helped him thwart the takeover attempt from Mr. Ten-Spot. He would soon put this most recent setback with that hick Plenty behind him. He was puzzled why the person who barged into his office was pointing a puny gun at the lamp on the right side of his desk. He took a guess he was a cop. “Looking for someone, officer”? “Hummmm, Hummmmm”. Tracy wondered what that humming sound was. He hoped he wasn’t leaking. “Where is he”? One Eye Jack, astonished at how incompetent this cop was tried his best BO Plenty imitation. “Whose ‘He’”? One Eye Jack answered while pressing the button to activate the trap door in the middle of his office. Tracy, struggling to turn his hand away from the left side of the office hated when his right hand decided to act independently from the rest of his body. “You know who I mean”, Tracy answered back while fighting the urge to leap into the hole that just appeared in the middle of the floor. “My my, brandishing a weapon in a casino—I think I’ll call the police”. One Eye Jack mockingly said to Tracy in his best Dr. Smith voice. Meanwhile, BO finally woke up and realized he wasn’t tied up making “moonshine” with Gertie in the pig pen. “WHUT HAPPENED”? “Where’s Tracy”?

This storyline, for me, after weeks, it’s good.
