I’m really starting to regret the fact that I started following this strip again. It takes so very long to go nowhere, over and over.

This comic strip is like reading the phone book … it has a big cast of characters … but no plot.

So what was the clue, Bracey?

Oh my god.

Terrible strip today.

Well, we are going to have another 2 - 5 days of this before Mr. Locher decides where to go next with this story line.

Is bleeep Galore next?

Sigh…

What ever happened to the smoking gun?

I expect several more days of non-advancement of the plot.

Oh dear I think Mr Locher has hit upon a cunning plan to extend this “could it be…?” situation even further - will we be subjected to the whole circus troupe, at 3 panels per day?

BTW has anyone actually seen a bearded lady at a circus? All the circuses I can remember from my childhood days (the South Australian circuit, in the fifties and sixties), didn’t have “freaks” on display. I don’t think I would feel comfortable gawking at a lady with facial hair, unless I knew it was just a fake beard (and easy enough to fake too I might add).

You don’t have to watch this strip to see a circus, just come down here to Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. The Moscow Circus has just left down but don’t panic there are still two left to see and gape at:

Firstly there are the elected members of Darwin City Council who accepted hundreds of free tickets from the Moscow Circus in lieu of cash payment for renting the grounds. The coucil refused to disclose who got the tickets, but it’s know that a lot went to councillors and their families and friends. the local paper published pictures of the council with a red nose superimposed on each.

Then there are the elected members of our Legislative Assembly - who carry on in a manner much sillier than any professional circus clown).

This is a Joke. One lame name after another. Locher and Brozman should hide their heads in SHAME.

Damm, these are both women…Barb Els and Mustacha???

Apparently the circus consisted of two performers (one of which is dead now), a clown, an elephant with rider, and a bunch of marginal “freaks”. Makes you wonder if they’re set up in a Walmart parking lot.

Naw. Walmart has too much taste for this show.

I think the idea is that we’re supposed to be so overwhelmingly impressed at how witty the characters’ names are that we won’t notice that the plot advancement has gone from slow to stopped.

This plot is rocketing along!

Wait! Let me get my notebook out. There’s just so many suspects! Keep up the good work Dick. Chester would be proud of you (not).

Barb Els evidently has the same pharmacist as “Big Papi” Ortiz and Barry “Balloon Head” Bonds. And kids look at Mustacha, that’s what happens when you visit Barb Els Drugstore. Should be in Sunday’s Grimestop Weekly

I got it!

They are going to create a story that is similar to those good old “let’s find out who is the murderer” comics.

First they present every character and then everyone is going to tell their defense. Finally, in the final panel the DT is going to say “This is not a problem at all. I think it is quite easy to see who is the guilty person.”

The right answer is written below the comic strip, but of course the text is upside down. You can now browse through all these previous strips and try to figure out the right answer.

Exciting, isn’t it.

And I’d say that after seeing just that for the past three weeks you’re right, and expect that you’ll be back saying the same thing again – three weeks from now.

I think Locher’s real dream was to draw circus freaks, and he’s just going to make this last as long as possible.

I have to agree, the best part of this strip is right here in the comments section. (BLEEEP GALORE) good one!!! Use it Locher, it might make things worth reading. I can just imagine going through the entire Circus cast panel by panel by panel by panel…………………….ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ is it tomorrow yet??
