Gee, I didn’t miss anything by not staying up late.
For what it’s worth: I have to turn off Javascript to make Gocomics readable. Seems the ads really do a number on Opera. Turning Java off also turns off the ads. Of course it makes posting this reply take a couple of extra steps.
PS: Matthew, if you still drop around here— I spend about half my day in Woodstock these days. No Dick Tracy anymore, but no weird villains either so I guess it works out even.

Perhaps now that the Major Crime Squad has been disbanded he operates as a Consultant out of HOME, with Tess getting more coverage than the clothed neck of Queen Victoria.
In the Zitpicker’s Grabbag, doesn’t Locher have 2 words out of place, “and even”? Maybe he should have paid more attention in English class instead of doodling cartoons.
Yea ! For after all Phil’s crocodile tears about sonny’s passing (a twist which has failed to ‘touch’ anyone) Locher want’s to cap it off with some zany icing, on the reationship cake.
Tracy hasn’t had a Job referal from HQ for over 15 months, unless you want to count the phony request to see Harmonic to make “the Department look good !” Or the highly unusual, assignement to prvide “extra” protection at an Embassy function where there has been no unusual threat.
In fact, there are no Embassy’s in Tracy’s part of the country. Only in DC.
If I ever saw anything like the creatures in this strip, I’d start running… we have the maestro with a glowing hand, the scarf encased Virgil Ohso looking like the blob in clothing…
