Tracy and Nothing running away would be the least of my concerns if I was the director and there was a dead body in a pool of blood on the stage.

Also, most dinner theater and murder mystery parties are not productions that are several years in the making.

Well put WW. I got your entry for the Dick Tracy Title “avatar” contest. Yes folks, for those of you who haven’t been to DT’s latest hiding place, i’ve initiated a sort of contest to think up a discriptive name for the Tracy strip. Has to be a :D” and a “T” pair of words.

I will post the latest list of entries from the previous day each morning. As of !L00 A.M. last night i’ve received 23.Sunday is the last day for entries. Next week will be the voting. ONE VOTE PER PERSON. If somebody tries stuffing the ballot bos, they’ll have to use a different name each time.

The Dick Tracy Title Avatar that gets the most votes has bragging rights for his/her imagination and the title of “Beat DT Spoofer”.

How did Tracy survive the 20 foot jump from the submarine? Same way he made the 30 foot leap to the ceiling, I suppose.

I have a simple explanation for the recurring poor quality of this strip; Locher’s editor at TMS is someone named Ed Wood.

Maybe this is STOOPID.

Two more wasted panels with Anja’s complaining. Most cartoonists wish they had more space. Half of this strip is just tedious repeating that offers nothing.

What Locher has done to this once-marvelous comic strip is a Disgraceful Travesty. (Yes, that’s my entry.)

@ btmosley – Tracy is just using the museum’s expansion/contraction condition to his favor. He jumped down from the sub just as the museum was shrinking, so what appeared to be a 20 foot drop became only 4 or 5 feet. Then he jumped up to the ceiling right before the museum expanded again.

I just want to know where did that rope come from that he’s shinnying on? If he lets go, it looks like he’ll land on a propeller. That inertia will spin the propeller with him on it, he’ll let go at precisely the right time, and tackle the Blank/Johnny Nothing before he can get a shot off. The gun will again go flying, and Tracy can then run again.

Good afternoon everyone. I quit reading this strip years ago, although I read it religiously as a youngster, I thought it got to be too boring to keep my attention. But due to the constant references in another forum, I thought I would visit here. It’s amazing how every single one of you are really downing this horrible strip. So now I know it isn’t just me. I don’t have to feel guilty anymore for abandoning Dick Tracy.
