Bribery is NOT happy! And it’s all coming to a head!

Like I said yesterday, Diet Smith thinks he knows what’s going on. Maybe he even recognized the real person who is dressed as T-Bolt. That makes it even more likely that she is one of the MCU people.

T-Bolt is anxious to “bolt” for the helicopter, but Mr. B is going to try phoning Méliès first “if he’s still alive.” I’m afraid he might be disappointed with that outcome. I notice he still thinks Méliès is a traitor, despite the fact that Méliès delivered Diet Smith to him.

Diet knows!Now we will hear about Melies death tomorrow. As mentioned earlier, we might not be shown the gory truth.

“Méliès, that traitor,” if he is still alive (N.B. still waiting on that .50 bullet!), may not be for long. Mr. Bigg looks perturbed.Meanwhile, back in the closet, Diet and the junior detectives seem relatively safe. Can Lee “T-Bolt” Ebony pull off a capture? Or will we momentarily flit to other action in the Ace Tower siege?

It sounds like T-Bolt wants to lure Bribery away from the offices and other gunmen, and maybe make an arrest. But if they got to the roof, would Mysta zap them both?So many possibilities!

Why i diet tied up with ropes like shown ala “The Perils Of Pauline”??? Would not nylon ties or handcuffs be better? Likely for dramatic effect !!!

Well, it’s always helpful when one can discern there’s some “consistency” in one’s ‘wishful’ forecasts . . . Seem to recall, on the other side of the coin, you earlier said there were ‘no more’ Space Coups, while lacking the ‘certainty’ of the final “outcome” of that Space Craft with Drs. Sail, Ghote and pilot Munro. “Because we having seen it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t still exist ?”A consideration that seemed to have been ‘missing’ last time round (?)

I’ve never had a problem with anyone forming an opinion based on the direction they ‘perceived’ that the Author may be heading, and then jumping in the saddle like – “Hopalong Cassidy” ! They’re certainly ‘entitled’ to do so, even if they have to “shrug off” the “reality” that same Author omitted to provide a needed “skill set” - to allow the character to ‘meaningfully’ perform, or left it carelessly ‘vague’, to a point of a last minute ‘add on’, and some possible embarrassment !.

What I’m really more ‘concerned’ about, is how the Author will “satisfy” his readers that a character never known to have them, could ‘pluck’ those hard to acquire “Skills” out of MID AIR ? (If indeed, this IS Lee Ebony?). . . and then have to USE them in a story-line ?

That’s tantamount to ‘accepting’ say, Steve the Tramp ‘walking’ on stage, in the next story-line, (surprisingly?), with two ‘original’ legs ? Then ‘comforting’ ourselves with the ‘thought’ that . . . “just because we never ‘saw’ them both earlier, the last time he appeared . . .. . . doesn’t mean he doesn’t have them !

I’d really be “surprised” if Mike tried to “Fob Off” Lee Ebony as a ‘Martial Arts’ *expert now, without the slightest earlier hint, that she’d gone beyond elementary ‘M.A.’ awareness . . . It would be a trick . . . an inferior substitute for the top craftsmanship, ‘expected’ from a Harvey Award winner !

Might be best if they both get arrested, to preserve her undercover identity; that she is even an undercover agent.-————————————-Yeah, if she’s been able to make the T-Bolt identity be accepted by the likes of BB-Eyes and Bribery, it would make a lot of sense to preserve it for later reuse.Gee, a secret identity!

This is what I was thinking of a few days ago, that Bribery had a much better set-up in his old office. I’m not seeing any significant security arrangements in this building. I’m not sure exactly what is “locked down” when he called for it. If that separates the gang members it might be harder to re-group and put up a united stand against their adversaries. As I said before this is not one of Bribery’s better schemes. Stashing the gold there was poor planning too because they’re going to lose it all. Better to use a separate hiding place.
