Putty Puss is impersonating and misquoting the legendary comedian Bob Hope and his signature song. Not that I blame Putty Puss (or even Mike Curtis) for misquoting the song because everybody misremembers it as “Thanks for the Memories” (plural) when it’s actually “Thanks for the Memory” (singular).
