    Good morning™, continuing questioners!

More not-very-useful testimony. Tracy has going to have to try something else, I think. In the background, that should be Mumbles in the middle picture. I think the other two are identifiable, but no names come immediately to mind.

    Today’s background pictures …

    - “Littleface” Finney

    - “Mumbles”

    … and one that I can’t immediately place. ✨

Sigh, even on a day where the plot is being established or time is spent developing a character is %1000’s more satisfying than this bore-fest! And the fault isn’t with Rick, he’s doing a splendid job.

Am I the only one who’s yawning?

Better to run The Best of Locher when the boys are on vacation instead of these unwanted Messit’s!

Any female members of this “club?” (I’d love to see Burchett tackle Breathless Mahoney or Angeltop Jones.)

Flattop said they were all “professionals,” but they’re all Doctors. Plus Prof. Derita, who must have a PhD.

I’m going to guess that it’s Dr. Hall, entirely because I don’t know what comedian that is.

Nice “coincidence” that all these “doctors” just happened to have the same last same as famous comedians/comedic actors.

I have a suspicion, but I will keep it to myself for now.

So these “professionals” who “let off steam” by cos-playing as killers, thieves and other societal misfits are so dedicated to their “roles” that in the case of Shakey, the good professor stays in character to the point of continually shaking, even when something serious has come up to interrupt the regular routine of their club. That would take some doing! In fact, to continually fake an affliction like that if you didn’t really have it, would be almost impossible. I would think you might end up hurting yourself.

And anyway, even when I was a little boy pretending to be The Lone Ranger, or Zorro, when my Dad called me into the house to tell me something serious, I quickly figured out that it was best to stop playing, and be myself while my Dad was talking to me.

Wouldn’t it make more sense for Tracy to establish everyone’s movements at the time of the murder, to find out who can’t account for the time? Or try to find the murder weapon & then try to connect it to one of the suspects? Or at least give the readers any sort of hard information about the murder? Instead we get another “Minute Mystery” about as entertaining as the annoying pop-up ads on the Go Comics website.

So far, we have been given zero information on how Roche died (I’ll assume that he is indeed dead). We have not been told that he was shot, nor that he was stabbed, bludgeoned, choked, poisoned, or anything else. That’s why I said yesterday that we need the Medical Examiner’s report—at least a preliminary report, just so we know what we’re dealing with here. If Tracy or Sam knows, he hasn’t said so “out loud” for us to hear.

And as for the suspects’ statements, all six have said nothing very incriminating, though now two have admitted to some past or recent animus with the deceased. We need more solid evidence of every kind!
