I’m impressed by the thickness of the hardcover books Vera is autographing, but we were introduced to the strip just over 7 years ago, so I guess there could have been a lot of strips in that time. I think that Mysta’s outfit is a good facsimile of the “Mars Maid” drawing.

Looks like she’s having a swell time.

Even Super Mario reads Vera Alldid’s strip!

I recall Tracy wasn’t very sympathetic with Vera and his strip!

So far so good for Vera and Mysta looks pretty nice as the “Mars Maid” ! I am pleasantly surprised since the cartoon character is garish…

Maybe, Vera can make the character look more like Mysta…

I also notice the irony of Mysta , with Moon Maid’s DNA,, playing the part of “Mars Maid”… ;-D

Vera’s “garish” rendering of Mars Maid in his strip is merely a reflection on his own garish personality. Mysta looks so good as a Martian that she might consider becoming a naturalized citizen.

I still think she should’ve said, “No.”

Is Vera shilling for “Mars Bars”? (Do they still make those?)!

I hope Mysta is getting paid a lot of money for this.

Is she “Mysta fying” the attendees?

The man in line is the same mustachioed one introduced yesterday, isn’t he?

Well, at least Vera isn’t so self-absorbed that he forgets to thank his fans…

So far there is no telling where this story is going? At this point it is boring!

I have to admit, Mysta’s costume is in very good taste. I certainly did not expect that from Vera Alldid; with him, I figured she’d be in a a thong bikini, or something very similar. Mike and Joe took me by surprise this time.

I hope Mystra has it in her contract that she will be sufficiently paid for all this dressing up.

Vera autographs books containing his strips…. are they really going to be collector’s items?

A question came to mind….how many newspapers across the country carry Vera’s strip?

Well, the promotion tour starts at a bookstore, I don’t know how many bookstores Tracy land has. Will some book festivals will be featured?

Book festivals, those take place in the Fall. Unless something out of the ordinary happens, I cannot imagine this story line running up to September.

The temperature in Palm Springs, CA, is 115 right now. But because of the low humidity, 7%, it only feels like 107. Keep cool, everyone!

As someone who used to host author events at a major bookstore in a major city today’s strip was extra enjoyable & brought back some fond memories. I don’t know who “Frady” is, but I"m glad they are one bookstore that’s surviving!

Who would know that mammals are so ubiquitous around the solar system?

Ahh, the good old traditional Book Signing! It’s a big event for a book store, like “Frady’s Books” in Tracyville. And it’s a nice, easy few extra bucks for the popular author, too, as Vera Alldid (ugh!) seems to be (no matter how repulsive I find him to be). In this case there is the extra added attraction (very attractive attraction!) of Mysta Chimera appearing in the rôle of “Mars Maid” in full costume [over-full, no thanks to the Daily Colorist]. Tracy and she chat amiably; but what lies in store for them both? Stay ’tooned, Comic Strip Fans!

Is Mysta wearing a white wig to make it look that her head is sort-of split at the top, like Mars Maid’s? Or are we to understand that Mars Maid has such a wig, and no split head?
