Luigi isn’t working too hard and doesn’t care at all about what may be going on with Coffyhead and Bronko. Instead, he is busy playing Bugz & Werms on his cell phone. This is the game based on "Peanutbutter’s* former comic strip. We encountered Peanutbutter recently from July 23, 2021 (https://www.gocomics.com/dicktracy/2021/07/23), until July 29. He explained that his comic strip, “Bugs and Worms,” had been cancelled, but that it was doing great as a game. (They game company changed the spelling slightly to appear more hip, I suppose.)
For those who don’t remember, when he was a boy, Peanutbutter (real name Homer Barley) spent a lot of time at the police station, antagonizing Junior and criticizing Junior’s drawings. It was at that time when he came up with the idea for the “Bugs and Worms” comic strip.
Getting back to the today’s strip, this time Tracy is showing the warrant because Coffyhead’s establishment here is not open to the public so he has to prove that he has the right to gain entry.
