I hate to say it, but I’m with Burl on this one. It irks the living snot out of me to see how they’re rushing these kids into stuff like that. Makes me sick, actually.
Um, I had to wear a bra when i was 11, and my granddaughter also. Its an inherited condition called Early Onset Puberty. So don’t judge. BTW I hated it!
We are in rare agreement. The sexualization of children is wrong, for boys as well as girls. Companies that market “sexy” to children should be ashamed of themselves. Parents who buy their products should be even more ashamed. Let the kids be kids, for God’s sake, life is tough enough when they do grow up.All that said, if there is a need for support, then there is a need, but that need doesn’t extend to “sexy.”
Purple and am so there with you. And for once Burl hits the nail on the head. What pervert came up with this eeeewwwwwww. PoodleGroomer those need parents who previde them with a proper diet. Not liter size sodas and a ton of junk food.
I have vacationed in Germany many times and have seen young boys and girls strip down and jump into lakes and streams with not a care. I thought it was wonderful to be so free. In the UK and Germany it’s not that uncommon to see topless women sunbathing in public parks. No one seems to think anything of it (unless you are a visiting American).
Sort of a robe, light over-dress or lab-coat looking garment that women put on over their dresses to avoid getting dirty while they clean the whole house every day(he said sarcastically). Actual style and construction varied over the years. Mom had 3 or 4 she’d use, 1 or 2 buttoned at the back while the others in front and I think they were light cotton. Who knows, they may be back given the cyclic nature of fashion…!

I have to agree. Let kids be kids. I thought dressing children like mini-adults went out in the 1780s.

There are children that need foundation support for obesity, not puberty.
