My daughter was probably around 12 and was very proud of her pies. My stepmother told her that she doesnāt eat āthat kind of chocolate pie with the white bottomā and proceeded to tell my daughter that she brought her own dessertā¦ Chips Ahoy Cookies. My daughter was crushed. She is now 28 and still remembers. My stepmother passed a couple of years ago. I am always reminded of her when I read this comic.
