In this town, “I know the Police Chief’s son,” would mean you were in the same county jail as him. “I know the Mayor’s son,” would men you go to the same KKK meetings as the rest of the “old-school” democrats.

“Found” the find it (like that’s a great big soggy deal to me….)…..but: What the hell IS that thing, some "Chinese"handcuffs? Today’s install is so chock full ’o idiot-sin-crass-eeze that, that………beam me UP, Scotty!!

My wife’s coworkers always said if they got pulled over, they would tell them they knew me. One time I pulled a lady over and she said that. I pointed to my name tag and said :“Do you now?”

At my brother in-law’s wedding, my friend came in and said he was hitting it off with the bar maid. He said she told him she had gotten a ticket, and asked me to give her some advice. We walked in and she said “THAT’S the guy!” I was like “You have no license, and your plates were suspended!” Needless to say, my friend did not get lucky that night.

Hurry up officer, Oh and change the lock # before you let them go.

My mom used to have her lawn mowed by a guy running a lawn service. He actually did end up the mayor. It was a city at that time of about 50,000, I think. Bigger now. I used him for my lawn for a while before he was elected, too. Neither of us would have considered dropping the name.
