What hangs over or sits on your property is yours.

A good neighbor would ask first. And a good neighbor would say “Help yourself”.

I can’t believe the people living on either side of the Penny household don’t have 6-foot high, solid wooden spite fences. I sure wouldn’t want to watch them climbing in and out of their pool.

That’s telling him Burl!!!

He’s going to find it difficult to climb up to steal apples with the legs cut off. His or the ladder’s, doesn’t matter which.

A coworker has an apple tree overhanging her sidewalk. One day a man pulled up and set up a ladder and started picking apples. She went out and said “What are you doing?” He said “I’m going to make an apple pie!” She said, “Unless you’re making it for ME, get lost!”

…so tie back the branches so they won’t hang over that nitwit’s “property”………

Will she come over to pick up the rotten/ bird pecked apples on the ground?

They both are just acting like jerks

I’m always happy to share with neighbors, but I do appreciate them asking first.

Neighbor catty corner behind me used to have an apple tree. Squirrels would pick the apples and bring them to our pine tree to eat them. My then dog (Saucy) would stand under the tree and bark until the squirrels dropped the apples. She would then eat the apples. Apple tree, pine tree and Saucy all long gone, but I still laugh to think about it.
