Latin changes every 6 months or so, it’s hard ro keep up

I would have thought that the Penney’s would have Latin textbooks on the bookshelf in their den, right between Monier-Williams’ “Sanskrit-English Dictionary” and the complete works of Plato (in the original Greek).

I never did like that new Latin.

I’m surprised Burl didn’t say that any word is Latin based if you add “yay” or “ay”.

Language have to be spoken by a living society in order to evolve. Even at the Vatican, Latin doesn’t change much.
