@Happy^3:Clicking to get the larger version barely helps. Look at the regular size of any Sunday Doonesbury, and look at the larger size of any Sunday Doug. The regular-sized Doonesbury is better quality than the larger Doug..This is a problem with several Sunday strips on GoComics, and it’s been this way for as long as I’ve been subscribing, 10+ years. It drives me crazy, even more so because fixing the problem would be ridiculously easy..Brian Anderson has no say in it, so I don’t blame him. He’s probably very frustrated that a good chunk of his readership is getting barely legible strips. GoComics has said they can only run the images they’re provided by the source, but I find it astonishing that they’re unable to say, “Give us a better image, or we’ll reconsider running the Sunday strips.”
It’s ironic this is about libraries, considering the print is to small it can hardly be read. Why not dump the logo panel and make the story panels larger?
Oh bravo, Brian. The joys and wonder of the written word (not via Kindle) within your hands … to hold, to cherish, to smell the bindings. I’ve been working at McGill libraries for over 40 years and nothing beats a book in print. Online books are for hosers (that’s a Canadianism) Beautiful art. Thank you.

Ahh yes, the joys of the library. From the Trojan War to the Conquest of Moon.

I can’t be the ONLY person who hates having to enlarge DED to be able to read it. Anderson, just drop the title panel !

I work in a library and Doug looks like that child who will freak out at the puppet show and be brought screaming up into the main library.

Doug has a Calvin-like imagination, Spaceman Spiff meets Indiana Jones!
