Sugar overload. The pound residents are going to hard to control. Ask any teacher about class control after Halloween and just before Christmas.

Candy corn is half wax and half sugar. Gag!

Thankfully, I don’t think it made it over to this side of the pond. Being diabetic, I’m not an expert on sweets, but I’ve read enough comments……

And yesterday was the “National Chocolate is on Sale Everywhere” day.

There were two shopping carts full of them at the grocery store yesterday. Buy one get, one free. No one was interested. I like them, but they are pure sugar. Sigh.

A few years ago, I accidentally discovered the missing ingredient for candy corn: PEANUTS! Grab half and half, and you will be amazed at how good it is.
