Different Universes, between Zipper and Toggle; the language barrier is steep!

Heck, it isn’t as if there aren’t a zillion colleges here in Boston … which puts you right next to MIT. Which, in your case, wouldn’t be a hardship.

Why have Zipper do tours; they know his record one would think they would want hi far from any prospective students!
boghos68 about 15 years ago
Because enrollment = tuition = income. They wouldn’t want to scare potential “students” off with challenges. Warm bodies with parental checks are all that matters.

Why bring it up Susan001? You were wrong. So?

A nice reminder at “Birdbrains” today - just saying….

I rather like that Garry just continued with the story. Nobody complains when a strip doesn’t print out a July 4th message, and it would get rather annoying if every strip by somebody from the United States had something about the United/American Hijackings. Anyway - I love how Toggle thinks it’s his speech impediment instead of his vocabulary choice. Thinking the best of people is a great asset for him.

It’s not Toggle’s speech impediment or vocabulary. No one in his right mind would go to Walden College for education - at least not if any other school would take him.

Susan001, I certainly don’t think that Gary Trudeau is obligated in any way to put his strip on hold today or any day. In my area there are all sorts of gatherings and church services to remember those who died. Do you really think that is the job of a comic strip? I’m sure that you must have something of the sort going on in your area. Why don’t you attend?
I’ve seen only a few other comics that mention 911. And in those where there was no mention, some readers took it upon themselves to mention it without casting aspersions on the author of the strip.
For God’s sake, it’s a cartoon.

rvon - I was actually referring to how the other guy isn’t able to understand him…

Zipper has a fine career waiting for him at National Review Online, if he wants it.
