Jeff: So what's your meet at DARPA about? Alex: It's about a project our team at MIT is developing for them. Jeff: No kidding? I have an idea DARPA would love! But it's a black project-- I can't tell you what it is. Alex: I understand. Jeff: It's a weaponized skateboard.

Imagine if all the marines charging ashore on Iwo Jima or Omaha Beach could have come in on individual, powered, high-speed, amphibious surf/skate boards! The possibilities!

He’s got something there. Street drones. It’s been done, though. Police use them to disable cars with electromagnetic pulses.

Mocha mamzer? As a redneck goy from Georgia, I’m not that up on my Yiddish. Is calling someone a mocha mamzer less or more offensive than calling him a schwarze schmuck?
QuiteDragon over 11 years ago
Enough with the racist insults. “Mocha Mamzer”, indeed.

Jeff doesn’t realize that unless it’s drone technology, DARPA isn’t interested.

That would be the Pit Bull model with some sort of of gun on it Maybe a small caliber flechette sub-machine gun?

Name one right that you had under W that you don’t have now. Other than, of course, the right to go without health insurance.

Remember the Patriot Act had the blessing of both parties. Both parties want more control of the masses, both parties want to control guns and build lists of those that might disagree with them later.
Yes, we do have a few politicians in each party that believe in the freedoms we were allowed in the BOR and the Constitution, but both parties agenda is the same as the agenda shared by the movers and shakers that run the industrialized world.
Dumping all political parties would be our only salvation. The noose of government control is tightening…….

Way to keep a black op secret, Jeff. This guy doesn’t ever have to worry about being waterboarded, he would spill his guts at the first question.

“Mocha mamzer”? Not racist in your book?

The military is experimenting with more drones than is generally known. A few years ago I had the job of hauling a prototype wheeled drone for off road use. It was 6by6. It was based on the John Deere farm 4 wheeler. Two seats up front and a pickup type bed. It had all the necessary equipment for satellite control and several weapons mounts. Machine gun mount on what would be a roll bar plus what looked like small rocket or missile mounts. I had the thought of deer hunters having these. I decided that beer doesn’t mix with any kind of hunting.

Wow! who would thought this cartoon about a skateboard could get so political. Everyone take a deep breath…Dali Lama…Dali Lama..

“It is always ‘racist’ with you guys.”It’s hard to defend a nasty, abusive term like “mocha mamzer.” But your defense is so lame and weak that I suspect you of irony.

Tucci needs all the flags he can get.
peabodyboy over 11 years ago
I agree with poor taste and uncalled for. I don’t know about accuracy, because the term itself seems to be archaic nonsense. I would add that Tucci has shown himself to be a zhlub and a nebish. My saying this is certainly uncalled for and in poor taste, but in Tucci’s case, it is accurate.

Of course DARPAnet leads to SkyNet which will soon become self-aware and turn on the human race …. our only chance for survival involves time traveling back to the original Yale strips where hopefully original Zonker, Bernie, B.D. and Mike can stop it before it all begins …..

It’s not a transportation skateboard, it’s for enhanced interrogation. “Get the guy in Cell 52 and skateboard him.”
