If Elizabeth ran and was elected, then BOTH parties will simply not work with her and stonewall her every initiative. In the senate, she can embarrass and cajole her colleagues into, MAYBE, doing some good!Bernie Sanders for President!

Warren won’t run – not now anyway. She’s remarkably smart and knows she doesn’t have the traction. But she’s also the best out there. The GOP has nobody who comes remotely close in intelligence, gumption, or integrity. And while I suspect 2016 is going to be a rehash of Bush-Clinton, I don’t see anyone in the Democratic Party that I like better than Warren either.
Glad no terrorists attacked under Bush. Glad there was no Saudi hand holding or kissing under Bush. Or giving German chancellors back rubs. Oh and gee, how did that economy thing work under Bush? An Obama protege sounds pretty good nowadays.
People can possess a nice sum of money while still caring about others. You don’t have to be poor to be civilized. It’s why some of us think Warren Buffett and Bill Gates, while I’m sure they’re far from perfect, are more decent human beings than the Koch Brothers; all have big piles of money, but not all insist on keeping every penny of it just for themselves.
“The fake indian is worth close to 6 million dollars, she can pretend all she wants but she doesn’t really care about anyone but herself.”~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~.Judge not lest thee be judged..There is no way you can see into her heart to declare what she cares about.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jeez, let the name calling begin… I’m curious, what is the average age of the commenters here? 12? 8? Name calling, especially making up hurtful words, is so blasted juvenile, and it serves no purpose other than to show how clever you are.
Would you please remove your post? If not I will feel compelled to flag it as being racist and, quite frankly, I don’t like flagging comments. I like that people can express themselves and share ideas, but this is a family site and the your racist reference is really nasty.
Agreed. Cons have bought all the media in the country and all but totally silenced those who warn about the growing facist aristocracy taking over this country. When they find their wages cut, their retirements gone, their rights squelched and their futures taken from them because of Republican greed and arrogance guess who they’ll blame….Obama and Liberals, of course. We Progressives have so little voice left on the airways and cable not because it isn’t popu.ar and marketable but because the rich buy all the media outlets and put on Limbaugh and Hannity. We have 3 hours on MSNBC and they scream about that.
There are billions, nay, trillions of progressive voters waiting to rise up and sweep away the system. But only if the right candidate runs. He or she has to be JUST the right mix of enviro-Leninist Marxist Trotskyite anarcho-syndicalist Maoist socialist. If it’s merely an enviro-socialist Marxist Leninist Maoist anarcho-syndicalist socialist Trotskyite, they’ll stay home. Anger motivates the Right to go out and vote. It motivates the Left to stay home and sulk.
Both warren and sanders would never be elected prez. You gotta get elected before you can do anything. Both sides are learning this. I noticed they are limiting the number of GOP debates next time, for example.
to win, one needs the proper opponent..Thankfully for the Democratic Party, the Republican Party obliges them with some of the worst opponents..Thankfully for the Republican Party, the Democratic Party obliges them with some of the worst opponents..Sadly for the American people, the Democratic Party and the Republican Party select the worst candidates to lead the nation, faithfully following the Constitution of the United States.. And yet, the nation endures and thrives.
@QuiteDragon“If not I will feel compelled to flag it as being racist and, quite frankly, I don’t like flagging comments.”.I assume you are talking about:“What an interesting choice for Democrats: Hillary or Tonto.”.I don’t keep up with these things, but wasn’t the comment really about a questionable claim to being Native American? According to my buddy, Wiki:“One of the greatest controversies surrounding Elizabeth Warren is her claim to be Native American, specifically Cherokee and/or Delaware..“The issue of whether Warren falsely claimed to be Native American was raised during her campaign for United States Senate in 2012, and is an important part of her public political persona because of evidence that the claim was unfounded.”.If this is true, it isn’t a rejection of those of us with Native American ancestors, but rather those who claim to be of Native American descent. Thus, if true, it would mock those who lie. In that instance, it wouldn’t be racist but anti-hypocrisy.(Not that hypocrisy isn’t the lifeblood of politics as currently practiced.)Of course, it IS offensive speech, so perhaps we should act like ISIS? even if only in forcing others to be silent?
@Kip W“Snopes says the claim (repeated about ten times by a sudden influx of disinterested seekers of truth above) is not true”.So going there and looking at what they wrote, We see among other things:.[“Warren said she didn’t know Harvard had used her heritage as proof of diversity until reading about the issue in the news, according to a Herald report. She also denied that she ever tried to gain a professional advantage through her lineage.”.The Globe obtained a portion of Warren’s application to Rutgers, which asks if prospective students want to apply for admission under the school’s Program for Minority Group Students. Warren answered “no.”".For her employment documents at the University of Texas, Warren indicated that she was “white.”.But Penn’s 2005 Minority Equity Report identified her as the recipient of a 1994 faculty award, listing her name in bold to signify that she was a minority. The Herald has twice quoted Charles Fried, the head of the Harvard appointing committee that recommended Warren for her position in 1995, saying that *the Democratic candidate’s heritage didn’t come up during the course of her hiring. “It simply played no role in the appointments process,” he said. “It was not mentioned and I didn’t mention it to the faculty.”.The Herald later quoted Fried, a former U.S. Solicitor General under President Ronald Reagan, saying, “I can state categorically that the subject of her Native American ancestry never once was mentioned.”..So while Sen. Elizabeth Warren has claimed Native American heritage, it does not appear she used her ethnic background for career advancement purposes to any significant degree.].So remember, those who claim she sought special favor for background are mistaken at best, dhg
That’ll be a great election. Warren will speak intelligently about the issues. The republican:" My opponent claimed to be an Indian". And every republican will vote for him, of course.
I enjoy how much time the shills for Hillary Clinton and Republicans spend trying to keep Elizabeth Warren from running for President. They should just come out of the conservative closet together.
