I think that The Donald has the same problem the late Robert Maxwell supposedly did – a kind of narcissism which leaves him with adult intelligence and sex-drive but the emotional development of a toddler. Only in Trump’s case it’s a very insecure and over-excitable toddler.

Is his hair (or hairpiece) going to be Doonesbury’s symbol for him? Mr. Obama never had one but most presidents are given something. Kind of obvious but dollar bills or a bird chirping would symbolize Mr. Trump also.

As long as we have Trudeau and Breathed I think we’ll be ok. Now if only we could get Watterson to return to the pen.

Trump is a parody of presidents, and ya just can’t satirize a parody!

I’m not a trump fan. I’m a Dem but couldn’t, in good conscience, vote for that hag we put out so I voted for Elizebeth.I’m now waiting to see what happens but I think that all of the Clinton trolls crying that the end is here are idiots.Most of (other than Education) his cabinet nominees aren’t bad.His own party isn’t fond of him so he’ll be blocked on his whack policies.I’m confident that we’ll survive this just as we survived Bush II, Carter and Nixon.

Trudeau steals people and puts words in their mouths. Always an ‘element’ of truth and funny. Why no lampooning of Hillary throughout the campaign? If there was I stand corrected, but I don’t remember it. I wonder how well Trudeau would do if he had to rely on characters he invented.

The air in China is something else. We bought a souvenir book of pictures of Hefei, and something about it looked odd. Then I realized that they had ’shopped in a blue sky in the photo I was looking at. The brown was still there at the edges of the buildings.

I don’t want to look like China. I remember the brown cloud that used to hover over my home town (nestled by the front range of the Rockies: a natural site for temperature inversions that hold the pollutants in place). New Jersey had cleaner air!
